About
A Calgary desk. Owner-led since 1996.
Boardmarker Group is a boutique investor-relations firm in Calgary. We work for Canadian public and private companies, with a particular focus on small-cap and nano-cap issuers that cannot staff a full in-house IR office.
The work is judgment, access, and writing quality. We read what the street can already see, we write in the issuer’s voice, and we keep a wall between mandates. Nothing leaves this desk until you approve a specific send.
We are not counsel, not an auditor, and not a broker. Drafts are drafts. Filings stay with the issuer or the firm that files them.
The desk is supported by Grok Bot. It drafts, watches public sources, and packages work for review. It is not counsel, not a filing agent, and not a substitute for a principal’s judgment. Nothing is posted, emailed to a third party, or filed until that principal approves a specific send.

Dean Stuart
Principal
Dean started on the Alberta Stock Exchange trading floor, then held Market Control and Market Surveillance Officer roles monitoring public-company disclosure. That background — how the tape reacts to news, and what “already disclosed” actually means — is the same lens behind Boardmarker’s IR work and X Wire.
He has advised issuers on investor relations and corporate communications since 1999. Boardmarker Group was founded in Calgary in 1996.
X Wire
Why that background matters for NR distribution
News is usually the biggest driver of attention in Canadian small and nano-cap markets. The constraint is often distribution — getting already-disclosed releases in front of more of the right eyeballs.
X Wire is Boardmarker’s channel for digital advertising of public news releases on X (@XWireNR). Creative is included; each post links to the company website. With optional X Ads, issuers can target who sees that news — so the right audiences are more likely to encounter an already-disclosed release. It is reach and awareness for continuous-disclosure facts — not a substitute for SEDAR+, the exchange, or counsel.
